What do you do, what department/school/institute and where are you located?

Senior Lecturer, School of Education, Warrnambool Campus

When did you start at Deakin University and what was the role?

My very first role at Deakin was a sessional position as a language and academic skills advisor in 1990 at the Rusden campus. I was a Deakin undergrad at the time. Then after a tour of Monash, La Trobe and Monash again, I returned to Deakin in 2002 as a Lecturer in Education Studies (now Curriculum, Pedagogy and Professional Learning) and have been here since.  

Where did you study?

Deakin (BEd in secondary maths and English)

Monash (MA in critical theory)

La Trobe (PhD in ed tech)

Where did you go on recent holiday?

Family trip to Noosaville in July – ice-cream, pelicans, horse-riding, prawns, pool, Cars 3 movie

What is the one food you wouldn’t want to give up?

Porridge

Do you have any pets?

An old cat (Ruby Tuesday) and a young cat (Remi); both moggie pound cats.
