Your digital ‘iso’ reading list
In this time of self-isolation and studying from home, a lot of people are finding more hours to fill in their day. What better time than to build a digital iso (short for isolation, if you’re not online much) reading list? While Victoria has amazing indie bookstores that will deliver locally and would love your support, if you’re finding yourself a bit short on spending money for new hardcovers, the library offers access to loads of fiction and narrative nonfiction.
Fiction offers us an escape when times in the real world are particularly tough, so it’s no surprise that millions of people have signed up for reading challenges and started devouring novels. While our on-campus collection is temporarily restricted, we have a huge selection of fiction e-books that you can access, and we’re betting your local library does too!
Check out our recommendations below, and don’t forget to take a break from the news and let yourself get lost in someone else’s story.
