What can the library do for you? Find out in T2 O-Week
It’s 2018 and your university library is far more than just a place full of books. As a Deakin student, you’ll have access to expert research support, a huge collection of digital and print resources, a heap of images and videos, and comfy places to study away from the buzz of campus housing.
Make the most of your library and join our introductory sessions and tours as part of your Trimester 2 Orientation. You can view these sessions in your Orientation Itinerary, or read on for more information.

In our online Discover Your Library sessions, you will learn how to navigate the resources and services that will help you with your assignments.

Take a library tour
If you’d like to explore your campus library, pop in during staffed hours and visit the Service Desk to ask for a tour. We’ll show you how to find your way around and how to:
- find resources, the hold shelf, printers and scanners
- access and book study spaces
- borrow books.
A tour is also a great chance to meet our expert staff and ask any questions you might have about the library.
