How to modify or cancel a requested item

If you need an item sent from another library campus or are after something that is currently checked out by another user, you use the library’s Request It button to place a hold. After requesting an item, you can make modifications to your campus pickup location or cancel the request if you no longer need it.

Modify hold

1. Navigate to your holds.

2. Change the pickup location by selecting a location from the dropdown menu.

3. Select Update/Cancel Marked.

4. A confirmation screen with the action that is about to take place will appear.

5. Select ‘yes’ to confirm the changes or ‘no’ to cancel.

1. Navigate to your holds.

2. Tick the checkbox under the CANCEL column.

3. Select UPDATE/CANCEL MARKED.

4. A confirmation screen with the action that is about to take place will appear.

5. Select ‘yes’ to confirm the cancelling of the hold, or ‘no’ to keep the hold.
