Nutrition in Medicine

Our food choices affect our health and planet health. Unfortunately, most medical schools do not provide students with the teaching and learning they need to deliver high-quality and effective nutrition care.

To help address this, Deakin University – in partnership with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia and other Australian Universities – developed the Nutrition Competency Framework for Medical Graduates. An extended version is available if you are planning some serious curriculum renewal.
