Oat waffles

If you like waffles but you’re trying to cut out some sugar or eat a little cleaner, then try this recipe! The waffles are dairy-free and can be gluten-free if you use certified gluten-free oats.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 big eggs
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 cups wholegrain oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • banana and berries to top

Instructions
 

  • Put all the ingredients in the blender.
  • Start with the liquid ingredients.
  • Add the oats and banana at the end.
  • Blend well.
  • Put about 1/3 cup of the mixture in each waffle space in the waffle maker (if you don't have a waffle maker, you can use a non-sticky pan and make it the shape of pancakes).
  • Drizzle a little bit of honey and some fruits on top.
