Update your personal details on StudentConnect
Don’t forget to update your local home address and phone contact details via StudentConnect.
Scholarship students should also update their address details on DeakinPeople by selecting ‘Personal and Job Details’ from the main menu and then selecting ‘Personal Details’.
Scholarship students should update banking details via DeakinPeople by selecting ‘Pay’ from the main menu and then selecting ‘Bank Accounts’.
Changes to your name or citizenship require supporting documentation and should be forwarded to the HDR Candidature Manager, and for international students, also to Deakin International.

Yes, it is very important to keep your contact details up to date. It is also helpful for your final testamur details at Graduation (eg. if you have changed your name and want it to reflected on your testamur) – This can sometime take a bit of time so good to think about it early).
