5-day Stats Workshop
The University of Melbourne is offering places in a 5-day Stats Workshop using Mplus from February 4-8. Rates are heavily discounted for PhD students.
Workshop information is as follows:
OVERVIEW:
This workshop covers Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Multilevel Modeling (MLM) in the statistical modeling program Mplus, with slides, published datasets, and Mplus program code and output provided to all participants — catering is also provided, including snacks and lunch. Models incorporating both cross-sectional and longitudinal data will be treated. Following completion of the course, participants will be able to creatively use SEM and MLM in their research.
TOPICS COVERED:
1) Introducing Mplus: Mplus language, Regression, Covariation, and Path Analysis.
2) Popular Regression Tools: Mediators, Moderators, and Instrumental Variables.
3) Working with Latent Variables: Confirmatory Factor Analysis and SEM.
4) Multilevel Modeling: Random Intercepts, Random Slopes, Multilevel Path Analysis, and Multilevel SEM.
5) Latent Growth Modeling: Longitudinal data and processes modeled as MLMs and SEMs.
REGISTRATION FEES:
Academic and non-academic fees are $2450 AUD
PhD student fees are $950 AUD
