Tech support is now available in the library
Navigating the digital aspects of university life can be daunting, especially when you’re just starting out. That’s why Deakin Library is thrilled to announce a brand-new service designed to ease your transition and set you up for success: Student TechAssist.
Available from Prepare Week to Week 4, the Student TechAssist team will be available at the library service desk to guide new students through university digital tools and platforms with peer-to-peer support. Whether it’s your first login attempt or you’re setting up new systems, the library’s dedicated student team offers walk-up assistance with a range of basic tech enquiries.
Convenient, accessible and ready to help
Student TechAssist provides a friendly and accessible point of contact for tech-related questions in one of the spaces new students love the most – your campus library.
The library’s student-led team can help with:
- CloudDeakin/D2L setup
- multi-factor authentication
- wi-fi/Eduroam login
- printing queries
- basic Microsoft support.
Student TechAssist operates from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, no appointment needed.
Just drop by the library service desk at any Deakin campus and look for the Student TechAssist banner. The team wearing grey aprons and blue lanyards will be waiting!
Please note: While the team will do their best to resolve your questions at the desk, more complex support needs may be referred to Deakin Digital.
