Tools and technology
Explore your campus library for desktop computers, multifunction printer and scanner machines, charging stations, power-equipped desks and whiteboards for collaboration. If you need help locating anything, just ask at the Library service desk on campus or via Library Chat.
Download the Deakin Borrow app to scan the barcode of Library items and check them out using your phone. You can also manage your loans through the app. Alternatively, each of our campus libraries has a self-checkout machine.
Make new friends and form a study group
Library Study, Snacks & Chats is a weekly get together for connecting with fellow students, sharing study tips, and getting the most out of your university experience. Each session, we’ll feature special guests who will offer expert advice on everything from acing your assignments to wellbeing advice.
Hosted in the Library, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the resources available to you, while building a supportive network with other like-minded students.
Study, Snacks and Chats runs from Week 2 to Week 7, Trimester 1.
- At Burwood, Waurn Ponds and Waterfront it will run every Tuesday at 2pm starting on Tuesday of Week 2, 11 March until Tuesday of Week 7, 15 April.
- At Warrnambool there will be two sessions on Wednesday 12 March and 26 March at 12.30pm.
