Essential Digital Literacy for the Bachelor of Property and Real Estate to run for the first time in MMP111 as a compulsory tutorial activity. The module has been recreated with a scenario based around property valuation with activities and resources customised to the new scenario.

Adaptive technology was introduced that allows the system to recognise students with prior completion e.g. doing a double major, allowing them to bring their grades through, giving credit for prior learning.

The DLM is embedded into MMK101 Marketing Fundamentals a compulsory 1st year unit for all Bachelor of Commerce Students. Here it is embedded as a hurdle requirement attached to the students’ first assignment.

Tumult Hype software chosen to create module, templates and graphics work begins

Software alternatives investigated with the decision to go with Tumult Hype    to create the module. Graphics and templates started using the Library’s Digital Experience team. The Library team undergo training in the use of Hype.

Scenario developed around the Great Barrier Reef and tourism created. To be included aspects of marketing, economy impacting tourism, legislation around the protection of the reef.

Library maps the course learning outcomes to the library’s Digital Literacy Framework

The course learning outcomes were mapped against the Library’s Digital Literacy Framework to identify 1st-year skills to address. These were then sent to the course team for approval. Content approval gained.
