UniStart and Preparing to Succeed
UniStart and Preparing to Succeed are online platforms with modules you can complete to prepare for university study.
If you’re an undergraduate student, you will be enrolled in UniStart. If you’re a postgraduate student, you will be enrolled in Preparing to Succeed.
These modules are designed by current students to help new students learn how things are done at Deakin, particularly how your studies are structured.
You’ll learn about your units, assessments, your support networks and how to plan your work. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask our staff questions, chat with other new students and reflect on your study goals.
The modules should be completed during the Orientation period and will complement the events and activities in your Orientation Itinerary.
