Congratulations to our newest PhD graduates!

Three very proud and happy new PhD graduates celebrated their achievements at the conferral ceremony held at Costa Hall, at Deakin’s Waterfront Campus at Geelong on Wednesday 21 June 2023.

We extend congratulations and warmest best wishes for continued success, to –

• Dr Islam Khalil, whose thesis is entitled “Three Essays on Education and Health Economics”, supervised by Associate Professor Debdulal Malick, Dept of Economics
• Dr Minh Nhat Nguyen, whose thesis is entitled “Three Essays on Climate Finance”, supervised by Dr Ruipeng Liu, Dept of Finance
• Dr Shruti Verma, whose thesis is entitled “Rebranding Announcements and Corporate Outcomes”, supervised by Professor Ferdinand Gul, Dept of Accounting

All are pictured below on stage during their conferral, and receiving their testamur from the Dr Lyn Roberts AO, Deputy Chancellor of Deakin University.
