New Postdoctoral Research Fellowships with the Australia Institute

INTRODUCING THE AUSTRALIA INSTITUTE’S POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The Australia Institute is a leading independent think-tank, producing high-quality, timely research designed to have impact across a broad range of economic, social, accountability and environmental issues.

The Australia Institute Postdoctoral Research Fellowships have recently been established, offering up to five research positions at the Institute for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on research that will be used to address the important public policy issues currently facing Australia, in the following priority research areas:

  • Economics, tax and revenue
  • Climate and energy
  • Environmental economics and forestry
  • Democracy and accountability
  • Society, health and wellbeing
  • Housing and infrastructure
  • Policy alternatives for Australia (particularly Nordic policies)

These researchers will learn how to put their research into action by developing skills to make it easier to communicate and disseminate research to policymakers, key stakeholders, and the public.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop a career in research and for Postdoctoral Researchers to learn how to make research have an impact.

Further information is available on their website https://australiainstitute.org.au/about/jobs/

These are full-time one to two year fixed term opportunities for PhD qualified (or recently submitted PhD) researchers who want their work to make an impact.
