Mandatory use of iThenticate before thesis submission

All HDR students now have access to iThenticate (plagiarism prevention software) on DeakinSync, via the Research Training menu.

You will have access to this software throughout your candidature and will be required to submit an iThenticate report upon uploading your final thesis for examination. Both your supervisor and HoAU nominee will be required to review and approve the report as part of the thesis submission process.

This mandatory requirement has been introduced to ensure due diligence and prevent academic misconduct before it occurs, reducing the time spent investigating and adjudicating misconduct cases thus protecting the reputation of the university, supervisor and student. iThenticate information can be found Here.
