Alyson Miller<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Alyson researches and writes on literature of extremities, focussing on scandal, censorship, and taboo. She is the author of <\/span>Haunted by Words: Scandalous Texts<\/em>, and an editor of the collected essays, <\/span>The Unfinished Atomic Bomb: Shadows and Reflections<\/em>. Alyson is also a prose poet, with three collections\u2014Dream Animals<\/em> <\/span>(Dancing Girl Press, 2014), <\/span>Pika-don<\/em> <\/span>(with Cassandra Atherton and Phil Day, Mountains Brown Press, 2018), and <\/span>Strange Creatures <\/em>(Recent Work Press, 2019)\u2014as well as publications in numerous journals and anthologies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\"AlysonHer areas of research include literature and scandal\/taboo, prose poetry, and atomic (bomb) literature. She is on the editorial board of <\/span>Literature and Librarianship<\/em>, a member of the Contemporary Histories Research Group, and a judge for the annual Global Undergraduate Awards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
