We Are Here – Homeless Place-Writing on ABC

The ABC’s David Astle recently spoke to staff member Meg Mundell about We Are Here: Stories of Place, Home, and Belonging, a forthcoming anthology by writers who have experienced homelessness. Funded by a City of Melbourne Arts Grant, the book will be published in late 2019 with the generous support of Affirm Press.

The anthology is an offshoot of “We Are Here: Writing Place”, an ongoing research project exploring understandings of “place” amongst people who have been homeless, funded by Deakin University and StreetSmart Australia.
