Visiting Scholarship – Ben Hegarty

Congrats to Dr Benjamin Hegarty, who will be a visiting scholar under the Endeavour Fellowship scheme at the University of California, Irvine (USA). Based in the Department of Anthropology, Ben will be working with Professor Tom Boellstorff to turn his PhD thesis The Transgender Body and National Modernity in New Order Indonesia (1967–1998) into a book. He’ll be in the US for six months (September 2018–March 2019).
