Rhett Davis
Rhett Davis talking about himself, from his website:
I’m a writer living in Geelong, Australia. This is my face as it once appeared. I mostly write fiction that sits somewhere between realism, unrealism, absurdism, science fiction, and satire. I have an MFA from the University of British Columbia, and a PhD in creative writing at Deakin University in Geelong. I like reading things that surprise me. I live with a lovely Nova Scotian who is very good at mocking my accent. I am competent in some sports but restrict myself mostly to walking. I like video games and interactive things but have a hard time admitting it. I like things that remind me of how small I am. I’m Australian but deeply suspicious about it. I’ve published short fiction in literary journals such as The Dalhousie Review, The Sleepers Almanac, The Big Issue, Verandah and Page Seventeen. In 2020 I won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript for my novel, Hovering. It will be published by Hachette Australia in 2021.
There’s more detail on Hovering here.
