Vale – Patrick West

We lost our colleague Patrick in September 2025. His research, teaching and practice was strongly cross-disclipinary in creative writing, scriptwriting, cross-artform practice, practice-led research, creative arts for social justice, and literatures of place and the built environment. He was an active supervisor of Higher Degree Research candidates and commentator on HDR matters, and is very much missed by his colleagues, his students and the wider academic community.
