Have you typed THE END on your manuscript and are wondering what to do next?
Navigating the many options can be a minefield.
In this 90 minute session experienced publisher and editor Bernadette Foley will take you through:
- the differences between traditional publishing and self-publishing options
- how to know which publishing path is right for you
- what you need to prepare to present your work
- your roles and responsibilities as an author
Join us for this information session so that you know when your work is ready to be published, and the options open to you to turn it into a book.
A private link of the session recording will be provided to enrolled participants only and available for a limited period of 10 days. Once the viewing period has expired the recording will no longer be available to view.
Handouts and slides will be provided to all registered participants if used in the session.
Bernadette Foley is a publisher and editor with over 30 years’ experience in the book industry. She has worked for many of the leading publishing companies in Australia, and for 11 years she was publisher of fiction and non-fiction at Hachette Australia before starting her own business, Broadcast Books.
Bernadette teaches the post-graduate subject Book Publishing and Marketing at UTS, facilitates and runs writing workshops and mentoring programs. She has received the George Robertson Award for services to the publishing industry.
