2019 Queenscliffe Literary Festival – 11–26 May

Providing an inspiring opportunity for budding writers, journalists and performers to learn directly from their heroes, the 2019 Queenscliffe Literary Festival showcases a group of outstanding Australian authors, journalists and performers, including Helen Garner, Richard Fidler, Kerry O’Brien, Sarah Ferguson, Michael Robotham, William McInnes, Jeff Sparrow, Rosalie Ham, Michael Veitch and many more.

The 2019 Queenscliffe Literary Festival will run over three weekends from Friday 11 May until Sunday 26 May, with in-conversation events, performances and workshops in Queenscliffe and Point Lonsdale.

Deakin University’s School of Communication and Creative Arts is one of the festival’s sponsors, and Deakin SCCA staff Dr Emmett Stinson, Professor David McCooey, Associate Professor Maria Takolander and Dr Meg Mundell will be facilitating key sessions, while Deakin SCCA PhD candidate and star writer Toni Jordan will host a writing workshop.
