Opportunity
The Australian Museum frog app collects frog calls from around the country, but identifications are made manually. A similar app for birds could be developed with very high uptake possible.

- automated recognition of sounds from nature, with priority projects on frogs and birds
- user-friendly interfaces and data management.
Collaboration
This is a major venture with potential to be national in scale with appropriate partners such as State and Federal agencies, and NGOs, or could be scaled to smaller projects depending on the extent of collaboration.
