Professional staff looking to undertake further study, that is relevant to their role, may be eligible for support in the form of study leave and fee reimbursement.
– The course must be relevant to your role and included in your DeakinAchieve plan.
– The course must lead to an enhancement of your skills and provide benefit to the University.
– You must have been employed with Deakin in a continuing or fixed term role for at least 12 months.
– You must have achieved a rating of at least ‘good’ in your most recent DeakinAchieve plan (previously know as PPR)
Study support fee reimbursement is granted on a sliding scale at the discretion of the head of the organisational area up to a yearly maximum, subject to the area’s available budget. Supervisors should refer to the Supervisor’s Assessment Tool in the study support application form to determine the type and level of study support to be granted.
