NSW Chapter update

The NSW Peer Programs Network has now been successfully running for over a year with member numbers steadily growing. During this time, members have expressed interest in a broad range of opportunities such as running more workshops, informal networking sessions, collaborating together on research projects and running a NSW Mentoring conference.

In 2019, as part of the NSW Peer Programs Network’s ‘Mentor Reward and Recognition’ initiative, we were able to offer ‘high performing’ Mentors tickets to the LEAD Conference, (part of Western Sydney University Lead, Engage, Aspire, Develop (LEAD) Program). Special thanks goes to Michelle Gillard, MATES Program Coordinator, Western Sydney University, for arranging this. Michelle is also one of the NSW Peer Programs Network Ambassadors.

We are also excited about our upcoming ‘Bounce Session’ workshop, where members can come together to share ideas, knowledge and resources on a variety of topics of interest. More details about the workshop and a registration link will be emailed out to the NSW Peer Programs Network members soon.
