David Arendale shares resources following the 2019 PASS Conference

Greetings everyone. Thanks again for the warm welcome I received at the PASS Conference last October. I learned a great deal from talking with the staff and the students. Here are some resources you might find useful with your peer program.

  1. Course-based Learning Assistance Guidelines, http://z.umn.edu/peerguides The draft document reflects the suggested edits from the peer program staff provided during a working session at the PASS Conference. Consider these a possible supplement to the guidelines you already have created or received from the PASS training workshop. These guidelines are generic for most peer approaches.
  2. Peer Assisted Learning Podcast, http://palgroups.org The podcast series now features five PASS leaders from Australia. I would be delighted to include more short interviews of peer leaders and also program administrators. Send me a note if you have interest for a short interview using Skype.
  3. I revised the web page of resources I shared during the PASS conference last October. http://z.umn.edu/Australia2019

Take care,
David
