Homemade Oat Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup raw sugar
  • 3 tbsp Nutelex can substitute for butter or butter alternative
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence optional
  • pinch salt optional
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats you can use quick oats
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 100 g of additions dried blueberries, dark chocolate chips, nuts, other dried fruits etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  • Cream together sugar and Nutelex.
  • Add in vanilla, salt and beat in 1 egg.
  • Sift in self-raising flour and add in oats and mix until combine.
  • Add in additions.
  • Scoop on large table spoon of biscuit dough on the lined baking paper 5cm apart (usually fit 6 biscuits on a tray).
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool on a wire rack.
