During Reconciliation Week, NIKERI Institute collaborated with the Deakin Art Gallery to produce Grounded in Flux, a reflexive exhibition which celebrated the universities research strengths and community engagement.
Student artworks produced as part of the elective Aboriginal studies units and Indigenous Studies minor sequence offered across Deakin were showcased during the exhibition alongside from the private collection of Professor Gary Foley, video installations celebrating the Institute, and a sandpit installation by Dr Tyson Yunkaporta.
