Eileen has penned a culture report submission to the Queensland Government to make amendments in the QLD Child Protection Act in hope that the changes will be implemented. Eileen received a positive response informing her that a copy of her submission has been forwarded to the Honourable Di Farmer MP, Minister for Child Safety, Youth and Women and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence for consideration as part of the next stage of reforms to the Act. The dedicated members are continually striving for reform and justice from their community with plans to keep pushing the government, policy makers and wider community to implement change.
