In February we welcomed the 3KND team to NIKERI for a live broadcast. The Melbourne-based community radio station traveled throughout Victoria for the month, visiting Aboriginal organisations and community locations to conduct live broadcasts interviewing mob.
We welcomed the team down to Geelong where they interviewed staff including our Director, Professor Karinda Burns, researcher Dr Al Fricker and Education Academic Sally Riddle. Both Karinda and Sally previously studied at the institute so it was great to yarn about their career journeys and how they have now come back to NIKERI to influence the next generation of learners.
