Rachel’s thesis investigates the representation of the nonhuman in Australian ecofiction and the potential impact that such fiction has on the reader’s relationship with nature. This research includes considerations of speculative and science fiction, crime fiction, multispecies studies, and the intersection of literary theory and nature connection.
