Below is an overlay map of the Elgar Road site including available information of original buildings and an outline of the Deakin University site as it currently stands.
The earlier buildings to the northern half of the site, including the original house (pre-1929), school (1938), hall/gymnasium (1956) have been demolished. In their place, the Deakin Business School (LB) and the adjoining building to the north (LA) has been constructed.
- Click the icon in the top right corner of the map to expand to full-screen for optimal viewing.
- Grey buildings show the original structures which formed Kildonan and/or Allambie, information points expand to show further information of their historical usage and current status of either alternate use or removal.
- Blue buildings show the recent developments on site, after the closure of Allambie. The roadways and garden structure of the site remain largely the same.
