Orientation at Deakin is an opportunity for you to prepare for study, familiarise yourself with Deakin and make new friends. It’s important to attend Orientation events and sessions as part of your Orientation experience.
Orientation runs from pre-OWeek, through OWeek and into Week 1. Your Orientation is full of online workshops, activities and on-campus events designed to introduce you to university life and connect you with your fellow students.
Orientation Itinerary
You can find all your Orientation sessions and events in your personalised Orientation Itinerary. To build your Orientation Itinerary via our online app, simply select your campus, faculty, student type and course, and your itinerary will be generated.
We encourage you to attend everything in your Orientation Itinerary, including on-campus and online activities and opportunities beyond OWeek, to give yourself the best chance of success at Deakin.
Remember to check your Orientation Itinerary just before Orientation commences as events and information may change.
