Advanced Electrodes

Our group is focusing on developing new electrode (including cathode and anode) materials for advanced high energy, high stability batteries to propel the energy revolution and support better use of renewable electricity. Our understanding of new soft electrode materials will be developed, building on existing leading expertise in ionic materials. These advanced materials will be designed to address the capacity loss mechanisms occurring in advanced Lithium and Sodium cells and create ultra-long life batteries.
