Suleyman Yildiz

PhD Candidate

Suleyman YILDIZ is a PhD candidate in Institute for Frontier Materials at Deakin University. His previous research project was synthesis and characterisation of anode, cathode active materials for Na, Li-ion batteries. Currently, he is working on industrial based project collaborated with M.Brodribb Pty. Ltd. at ARC Training Centre for Future Energy Storage Technologies (StorEnergy). In scope of this work, the project will explore issues such as battery size and cost. Li and Na metal batteries which are developed at Deakin University, will be investigated for their structural characterization and mathematical modelling.

  • Bachelor degree is from Turkey Erciyes University Chemistry Department in 2015, master degree from same university in 2017.

  • Experience in Turkish Development of Ministry project more than 2 years regarding assembly of cylindrical and pouch type rechargeable batteries and advanced material characterisation ( XRD, SEM,EDX, Raman, impedance spectroscopy and cycling voltammetry)
