About Me

I completed my PhD in the field of Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. After graduation, I subsequently took up a postdoctoral position at the applied physics Department of Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands where I turned my attention to understanding the water transport in polyurethane coatings and how this affect the weathering behaviour of the coating, mainly using Magnetic Resonance Imaging techniques. From 2012 onward, I took up a Level A research fellow position at Deakin University, and was promoted to Level B in 2015. My current research is to use solid-state NMR and other techniques to understand the fundamental mechanisms of ion transport in various energy materials.

My current research focuses on understanding charge transport mechanisms in various energy materials using particularly NMR techniques.
