Start your Welcome Day with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at the Indigenous Garden. This important tradition, which has been performed by Traditional Custodians on this continent for many thousands of years, offers visitor safe passage and protection of their spiritual being while they are on some else’s Country. You’ll find the Indigenous Garden just above Car Park 12 on the campus map or ask for directions at Student Central.

Follow up the Welcome to Country with your Faculty Meet and Greet, then have fun, food and freebies at the DUSA Welcome Lunch! Come along and enjoy delicious food while vibing to the tunes of our acoustic guitar musician. You’ll also be able to meet DUSA Clubs on the day and sign-up to them. A fun way to meet fellow newbies and start off your Trimester making new friends. Find out more.
