As part of 2024 Respect at Uni Week, the Deakin University Art Gallery is installing the stunning Red Lotus inflatable sculpture by renowned Korean artist Choi Jeong Hwa on the Gallery lawn outside building FA (Deakin University Art Gallery).
Part of Deakin’s permanent collection, this impressive work stands more than 1.8 metres high, is more than 4 metres wide and features mechanical petals that open and close to replicate the gentle movement of the lotus flower as found in nature.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see this work while you can!
It’s on display on the Art Gallery lawn from Monday 18 March until Wednesday 20 March.
