NAIDOC Week 2026 runs from Sunday 5 to Sunday 12 July, recognising the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NAIDOC Week is a time for all Australians to learn about, and participate in celebrations of, the oldest continuous living cultures on Earth.
50 Years of Deadly
This year’s theme is ‘50 Years of Deadly‘ commemorating all the people, events, stories, art and more that have shaped NAIDOC Week for the past five decades. The theme is about considering how far things have come through the hard work and tenacity of generations of people.
’50 Years of Deadly’ is also a call to look ahead to the next 50 years, the young people who will continue that work, and the progress that is still to be made.

DUSA Market Days – Welcome to Country and activities
Start off your DUSA Market Days with a Welcome to Country, before enjoying trivia testing your knowledge of First Nations cultures, the chance for meaningful conversations and resources to keep learning and building connections beyond the day.
Trivia and activities will also be at Warrnambool’s DUSA Welcome Lunch.
