In partnership with the Geelong Football Club, we are excited to offer this unique opportunity for Deakin students.
Turn your ideas into impact
The Geelong Cats invite Deakin students to submit their own ‘Cats Win’ social design. Capture the excitement, the pride and raw emotion of Cats players and fans when their team gets over the line for the win!
To celebrate the victory, after every Cats win, the Club will choose and share their favourite Deakin student ‘Cats Win’ design on their official social media channels. If your design is chosen, it could potentially be seen by over 250k people!

What you need to know
Your original design should celebrate the Cats win. Draw your inspiration from elements of the round, the opposition, mascots, players, the fans, cheer squad or the stadium atmosphere.
Remember, this is for social media – so you’ll need to capture the raw emotion of the win in one powerful, on-brand visual. Use humour, emotion, a player milestone, or a current pop-culture moment to bring your concept to life.
It must include the Geelong Football Club brand font and colours and the copy “Cats Win’.
- Read the full Design Guidelines and access the creative resources before you start.
- Check who the Cats are playing each week on the Cats match fixture. Remember the last home and away game is Round 24, 20-23 August.
- When you’re ready, submit your design.
