On a tight budget? You can get free groceries on campus at the DUSA Food Pantry

With the rising cost of living, we understand that many students are feeling the strain. That’s why your Student Association, DUSA provides the free DUSA Food Pantry!

Conveniently located on campus, this welfare initiative provides a selection of fresh fruit, veggies, and pantry staples to help you create nutritious meals. Just bring a bag and stock up on what you need to stay healthy and focused on your studies.

Visit the DUSA Food Pantry on your campus

The DUSA Food Pantry will be available on select weeks at multiple campuses.

Trimester 1

The pantry opens at 11am and runs until 1pm or when supplies run out. Make sure you look on the DUSA What’s On webpage as the Food Pantry will be offered on different days across each campus during these weeks.

Registration for Burwood Waurn Ponds and Waterfront is a must! Please make sure you register in advance by visiting the Food Pantry webpage. Registrations go live the Friday before each DUSA Food Pantry is held.

Be sure to bring a bag as there are no reusable bags available. See you there!

DUSA recipe competition

DUSA teams and clubs have shared their favourite cheap, easy and delicious recipes and now it’s your turn to pick the winner! DUSA offers a range of quick, easy and inexpensive recipes to download from the Food Pantry webpage. Plus, check out Deakin’s online healthy eating hub, Nourished @ Deakin, which features ideas, inspiration and step-by-step meal guides, all chosen by two Bachelor of Nutrition students.
