Deakin Law students: Victorian Bar Shadowing Program 2026 applications open!
Are you keen to pursue a career as a barrister? Do you have limited links to the legal profession or face barriers in seeking a career in the legal profession? Consider applying for the Victorian Bar Shadowing Program.
Deakin Law School is partnering with the Victorian Bar to provide an amazing learning and career opportunity for 10 students. The Shadowing program matches a barrister mentor (or mentors) with law students who shadow their mentor in their work.
The program gives students a unique opportunity to understand the pathways to becoming a barrister, while building networks, legal understanding, and advocacy skills along the way.
