Supporting our community affected by the conflict in Iran and the Middle East
Deakin acknowledges the significant escalation of conflict in Iran and across the Middle East, and the deep concern and distress this is causing for members of our community.
Many of our students and staff have family, loved ones or close connections in the affected region. We understand that for some, these events are deeply personal. You are not alone.
At Deakin, our strength comes from creating an environment where students and staff from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities and religions can flourish. In times of global uncertainty, that commitment matters more than ever.
We ask our community to support one another with mutual respect and acceptance of differences.
