Share your thoughts on your Trimester 3 2025 units!
At Deakin, we work to give you the best possible University experience, but we know there’s always room for improvement.
That’s where you come in! To help ensure high-quality teaching, innovative and up-to-date course content and a stimulating learning environment, we need your feedback. There’s no one better placed than you—our students—to tell us what’s working and what could be done better or differently.
Tell us what you think
The eVALUate survey we run each study period is the best way to give us your honest and constructive feedback on your units and this trimester we have some new questions and we’d love to hear from you.
eVALUate for Trimester 3 2025 is now open and you can provide feedback until 11:59pm, Friday 13 February 2026. Take the survey now.
Important: You will receive emails about eVALUate from noreply@evaluate.deakin.edu.au. Emails from this address and the links they contain are Deakin-approved and safe to open.

Be honest and constructive
We’ll look closely at what you say in your survey.
All your responses are de-identified. The only circumstances in which Deakin will identify your feedback is if your comments suggest that your or others’ safety is at risk, or if we think your comments breach Deakin’s Student Code of Conduct (such as using abusive, discriminatory or threatening language). Any abusive comments will be removed. Remember it is not acceptable to comment on your educators’ personal characteristics such as their appearance, age, ethnicity and so on. Focus on their teaching and your learning.
So go ahead, have your say and help improve your course!
See past changes
Your feedback has a significant impact–the teaching team in each unit thoroughly reviews the overall survey results and uses them to improve students’ learning experiences. You can see what changes have been made based on past survey feedback in your Unit Guides available on your CloudDeakin unit sites and on the eVALUate webpage, which outlines improvements by faculty.
