We’re giving away two double passes to see India vs Netherlands in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Ahmedabad (Wednesday 18 February, 2026).
India step onto the world stage looking to tighten their grip on the tournament, while the Netherlands arrive hungry for a breakthrough win. Expect fast-paced action, game-changing moments and an electric atmosphere inside the world’s biggest cricket stadium.

The competition
The competition is free to enter and is strictly only open to current Deakin students studying at the GIFT City campus in India.
Entrants can enter the competition a maximum of one time.
Staff employed by Deakin and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
Competition period
The competition period is from9am Friday 9 January to 5pm on Friday 30 January 2026.
Prizes
The prize pool consists of four tickets to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, India vs Netherlands valued at INR₹500 each.
Two winners will each receive two ticketsfor Wednesday 18 February 2026.
The total value of the prize pool is INR₹2000.
How to enter
To enter the competition, students will need to answer the question “In 25 words or less, how will you stay safe, healthy and sun-smart while enjoying the T20 World Cup?” and also enter their Student ID, name, mobile number and Deakin email address into the competition submission entry form.
The competition opens 9am Friday 9 January and close 5pm on Friday 30 January 2026.
Selection and notification of winner
Winners will be drawn by random selection Monday 2 February and tickets will be transferred to the recipients via their Deakin email addresswithin two weeks of the event date.
Prizes are not transferrable and are not redeemable for cash. Deakin’s decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. Deakin accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
Entrants consent to Deakin using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes. Entrants agree to make themselves available for a photograph and interview if theirs is the winning entry and if requested by Deakin.
Prize recipients consent to their name and photograph being published on Deakin social media and other digital channels if requested to in all forms as determined by the Student Communications Team in Student Services.
Privacy collection, use and disclosure statement
Personal Information provided to Deakin University by entrants will be used to notify the winner of the competition. A photograph of the winners may be published on Deakin University’s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, WordPress and Instagram and other digital channels such as the Deakin Life blog.
Deakin University complies with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) in its treatment of personal information. Entrants have a right to access their personal information held by the University. Requests for access to personal information are managed under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic).
