Campus Learning Spaces initiative
We’re always working to make our campuses great places to learn, whether you’re in a classroom, studying in the library or connecting online. Our Campus Learning Spaces initiative brings together teams from across the university to create spaces that suit the way you want to learn. Our goal is to create physical spaces that are welcoming, flexible, inclusive and work seamlessly to enable both your physical and digital learning.
Share your thoughts and you could win
Your feedback is valuable to us! This year we’ve delivered a couple of projects that we would like your feedback on. Complete one of the short online surveys below by Friday 14 November for the chance to win one of three $50 e-gift cards.
Burwood Campus Building B
We’ve been improving Building B on Burwood Campus to enhance student learning and the campus experience. The first stage of these included modernised teaching spaces, refreshed lecture theatres, and a new Disability Resource Centre.
In February, Deakin’s Warrnambool Campus unveiled its newly refurbished Health Precinct with the goal of transforming the way students learn. Learning is now being delivered through high-fidelity simulation spaces, purpose-built rooms for performance-based assessments like OSCEs and EPAs, and implementation of active and collaborative learning spaces.
