Driving to Deakin? Find out how to park quickly and easily on campus

The start of the new study period is nearly here! Travelling to campus by public or active transport is a great way to start the day – but if you think you’ll need to drive to uni, make sure you know how to pay for parking ahead of time so you don’t end up with a parking fine.

Parking on campus

Parking is available at all our campuses, including accessible parking. Check out our campus maps for specific parking locations. As a student, you’ll be unable to park in any orange bays.

How to apply for a parking permit

As a Deakin student, you can purchase a long-term parking permit, valid at the Burwood and Waurn Ponds campuses for 120 days or 365 days from the date of purchase, via the vPermit website. To register, you’ll need your vehicle registration details and a valid credit card. Once registered, you can manage the vehicles listed on your vPermit through the vPermit app.

As a Deakin student vPermit holder, you can park in ‘General’ permit zones which are the white-lined spaces, at the Burwood and Waurn Ponds campuses.
