Waterfront Library closed this weekend with some IT services impacted
Essential power maintenance will take place between 6pm, Friday 13 June to 4pm, Sunday 15 June at the Waterfront Campus, resulting in a power outage to Building D, including the Data Centre, meaning there will be varying disruptions to several Deakin IT services for all users.
The Library will close from 6pm, Friday 13 June and reopen 9am, Monday 16 June. The Waurn Ponds Library will be open and accessible to all Geelong students over the weekend.
To minimise the disruption, the service outage periods will vary, as some services will be redirected to our Burwood Data Centre to maintain availability.

Available throughout (not affected by the outage):
- CloudDeakin
- Collaboration tools (including email, Teams, Zoom and Microsoft Office)
Friday and Sunday outages (6–8pm, 13 June and 10am–12pm, 15 June):
- Callista
- HR
- OnTrack
- Privileged IT access to Data Centre services
- Updates to building access control
- BAS control systems
- Best Practice
- Some legacy integrations
- Batch processing (including Finance jobs)
All other IT services will experience an outage from 6pm, Friday 13 June to 4pm, Sunday 15 June.
