Calling all investment traders: our Stock Pitch Competition is back for all BusLaw students!
Looking to show off your skills in financial analytics? The Deakin Business School is partnering again with the CFA Institute to run our fourth annual Deakin Stock Pitch Competition (DSPC 2025).
Apply as a team of three to five students to research a designated public company traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and prepare and present a report to a panel of judges.
Winning teams will be awarded cash prizes sponsored by the CFA Society of Melbourne and the Department of Finance.
Why join the competition?

The event not only tested the students’ analytical abilities but also provided invaluable networking opportunities with industry professionals.

How do I join
The competition is open to current Deakin Faculty of Business and Law students. Join as a team of three to five students. For teams registered with less than three students – individual applicants will be added to your team where possible. Individuals welcome to apply and we will try and match you to a group.
