Tell us how you engage with feedback for chance to win A$50 voucher

Feedback is important for your learning. Not only what feedback you receive, but the way you then go on to use it.

Participate in this survey and you can help us find out how you engage with feedback over time.

You’ll also go into the draw to win one of twenty A$50 supermarket vouchers for each year you participate.

What’s the survey for?

Run by the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE), and undertaken by researchers from Deakin, the University of Melbourne and the University of Surrey, the purpose of this study is to understand people’s feedback literacy over time.

We want to understand your attitudes and beliefs towards feedback from staff, colleagues, or other students and if the ways you work with feedback change over time.

The research will be used to help find better ways to help people with feedback, as well as informing future projects on the subject.

This study has Deakin University Ethics Approval (HAE-24-006).

Who can participate?

To participate in this study, you’ll need to be aged 18 years or older and be currently studying at Deakin.

What would I need to do?

You will complete a 15-20-minute online survey up to four times — once per year for up to four years over the length of the project.

Taking part is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time.

Privacy

Your data and results will be kept confidential and only accessible to those on the research team. Your responses, even if negative, will be anonymised and part of a large group when reported to the University and so will be unable to impact your relationship with Deakin in any way.
